Lisboa, República Portuguesa
To the west of central Lisbon lies Belém, a historical district which shouldn’t be missed when visiting the city. It is said that this is where Portuguese explorers first embarked on their journey. It is also where two historical buildings also declared as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, still stands even after the big 1755 earthquake the shook most of Lisbon. But most importantly, at least for me, is to get a taste of the famous Pastéis de Belem, the home of world-famous Pastéis de Nata.
