Strasbourg, France
One good thing about traveling is that you get to see friends whom you haven’t seen in a while. I got to see one of my high school friends who now resides in Strasbourg, about 2 and half hour fast train ride from Paris. It’s so close to the German border, that you can easily see the influence in this town. We met very early, starting the day off with a climb up 332 steps up the Strasbourg Cathedral, the world’s tallest building for over two centuries. It was one of those very hot days, and we ended up eating and walking around, then eating again with window shopping (I did good – no credit card damage) and a lot of catching up on the side.
Traveling then having fun meeting up with good friends, how much better could this trip be? Avec une boule de glace, s’il vous plaît.

That third picture is gorgeous! I’ve seen Strasbourg pictures many times, and it is always magnificent.

Thank you Laura. Strasbourg is so charming, I wished to have gone longer.
It’s doesn’t look like France at all! At first sight the name makes you think it’s in Germany!
Exactly. I felt like I crossed the border.
