Campania, Italia
Pompeii is not only the title of song that can give you the last-song-syndrome (that will keep playing in your head for the whole day), it’s also the title of the movie coming soon. What is about this place that inspired so many people, you ask? Here are some photos I took during my week-long Italian stay which included a day trip to the famous ruins.
After a short but wonderful, better-than-not-seeing-it-at-all trip to lovely Amalfi Coast, we stopped by Pompeii before coming back to Rome. Seeing how well civilized and organized the people were at 6th or 7th BC was beyond amazing. They had baths and highways and marketplace and drainage system. We all marvel at the newest technology that comes out every 3 months but seeing all this system made in a different era is truly impressive.

We visited Pompeii this summer and loved it! Sadly it was so hot that day that we didn’t get to see the whole thing, but what we did get to see was incredibly impressive.
