New York, NY
One reason I was excited to move to Washington, DC a few years back was that everything is only a short ride away. I had nothing special lined up for one summer weekend so I called my best friend and hopped on the bus. Together, we walked and shopped around the busy streets of Manhattan. A month later, my parents were coming into town. And though they’ve landed on JFK a few times, they haven’t really been around the Empire State so it was my time to play tourist guide.

I love this! I was just talking to friends from New York today. And I visited the city for the first time last summer. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do or see much as I was in a conference, but still it was awesome getting the city feel! I’m actually going to DC this week with a friend and I’m looking forward to exploring the capital 🙂 Hope you have a great week! xo, gina
Thanks Gina! Have fun in DC! One of my favorite cities and will always be my East Coast home!
Concrete jungle where dreams are made of. Great pictures!

Thanks Sonja. Your description is right on!
Wow, I love these photos. I cannot wait to go to NY and the US in general, I could pack up and head over right now if it was possible. I love the postcards/notes on the fence.
Thanks Kerri! NY is wonderful, definitely a must-see!
