Rome is a maze of ancient cobblestones streets that open up to beautiful postcard-ready piazzas. I’ve been lost, finding one Vespa after another parked along a historical building that houses modern high end fashionable store or an occasional gelato stand. The aroma from cafes invites you to stop and enjoy authentic Italian espresso that makes your heart palpitate even more in the heat of Roman summer sun. There’s something about walking the streets that you only read about in high school history classes. I had to pinch myself more than a few times.

  6. Rome is one of my favourite places 🙂 I love streets and walking up and down them. It’s nice to get out of the main city and walk some of the more peaceful streets I think. Such a busy city though 🙂
